Life's too short to read everything we wish

I never told you that last year I started studying to be a teacher of Spanish and Literature. Well, I successfully passed the first year so now I'm waiting with anxiety the new course to start. Meanwhile, I arranged the files in my computer and found a few texts that I saved for later. Sadly, I didn't read any of them yet.

Just last night I was reading The history of the valorous and witty Knight-Errant Don-Quixote of the Mancha (holiday homework, basically) and Cervantes use a thousand references to roman and greek mythology that requires research and more lecture. For example, now I feel that I MUST read Ovid's Metamorphoses.

That's why I concluded that life's too short to read everything we wish. But we can try, can't we?
